This is a friendly reminder that I will be giving 15 minute seated massages for $15 at the 2nd annual “Cut it Out a-thon” hosted at George of New York in Columbia, Marland.

Proceeds support “Darkness to Light” in their mission to educate adults on how to prevent, recognize and respond responsibly to child sexual abuse.

I want to share with you a lovely letter (below) I recieved from Shari Hammond, President of George of New York, who is sponsoring this great event. Please Join Us in support of this worthy cause!

Hi Ruth,
Thank you so much for volunteering for the cut it out a thon this year!  This event will financially benefit our Community by purchasing materials needed to train all adults in preventing child sexual abuse on a community level. The plan is to conduct a prevent-a-thon where I will train as many adults for free in a community center or equall venue on an on going basis.  Prevention cannot be placed into the hands of children to protect themselves.  This training will train adults on how to prevent, recognize and act responsibly to this horrific epidemic.  And I believe that by spreading awareness, training, support and just simply talking about it, we can change this!!!
